Vibrant design for a vibrant community.
Mudgee Fine Foods is a non-profit organisation that was created to increase the awareness of Mudgee's local food industry and to promote the Mudgee region in conjunction with Mudgee Wine Grape Growers Association and with Mudgee Regional Tourism.
The creative team was tasked with the job of developing a website for promoting regular Farmers’ & Makers’ Markets as well as the Farm Walk and Farm Gate events. The website was designed to visually feel bright and colourful to emulate the feel of the Farmers’ Market and other events.
A clean and modern design was used with a strong focus on the selection of photography and colours to individualise each event. Keeping the website as clean and easy to navigate as possible was an important focus as the large amount of text and images that was needed for both stallholders and visitors to the site. We utilised a method of presenting the primary text content on two-thirds of the page with a sidebar for important documents and information. Modern website animations were even used to help draw attention to the most important documents when the user views the page.
Later down the track an eCommerce module was added to allow the sale of online tickets, as well as an integrated Facebook and Instagram feed, blog system and a mobile friendly and simple to manage online calendar. The online calendar allowed for automatic reoccurring events to reduce ongoing maintenance for the Mudgee Fine Foods support staff.

Farm Gate & Foodie Trail Booklet
After the development of the website was completed, we were then tasked with the job of creating a booklet for the Mudgee Region's Farm Gate & Foodie Trail 2018. The design brief required a modern design with a rural twist.
